A Personal Commitment to Service
I grew up in Chilliwack, primarily on my grandparents' horse farm. We often visited Harrison Hot Springs for day trips during the warm months with my family, where many fond memories were made.
From an early age, I learned the value of hard work, perseverance, responsibility, and helping others. Those lessons continue to guide me today.
As a teenager, I earned a position on the Canadian National Dance Team and had the honour of representing Canada in Germany on two separate occasions.
My coach was talented, demanding, and unwavering in her expectations. She taught me one of the most important lessons of my life: sometimes you have to break down barriers and challenge yourself in order to come back stronger than ever.
That experience taught me discipline, resilience, confidence, teamwork, and the courage to pursue ambitious goals. Those qualities continue to shape my leadership today and guide how I approach challenges, opportunities, and service to others.
As Chilliwack continued to grow, my family relocated to Agassiz, where we lived for three and a half years before moving to Harrison Hot Springs over two years ago.
Today, Harrison Hot Springs is proudly our home.
As a family, we enjoy camping, fishing, biking, exploring the outdoors, and maintaining our lifelong connection with my three horses and my children's ponies.
We are invested in this community because our children are growing up here, and we believe deeply in its future.
